Default Help with A/C Code??

Good news -

I got my car back FINALLY!!!!

Bad News -

My punch list for the body shop and dealer is about 20 items long and growing as I continue to look it over and clean up after their sorry, sloppy azzes.

#1 on the list, and big here in FL, is no A/C. The light on the AC button illuminates for about a second, and the fan works, but the compressor never kicks in as far as I can tell. Besides that, somehow they managed to make it so the driver's door louvers and both vents on the pass. side don't move properly, and the interior smells like burned wiring (or maybe still airbag?). Good thing tomorrow's forecast is topless!!

I've read all 12 currently displayed codes, and the most applicable one seems to be 10 PCM P0410C (AIR System-B). Any suggestions are welcomed, and I hope to get some help from others tomorrow in Daytona to fill out the punch list and identify what else I'll be asking them to take care of on Monday.

Thanks.

P0410 is your secondary air system, which is an emission control device, and has nothing to do with the A/C system.

i hsad this problem to make a long story short it turned out to be a broken vacuum line under the battery tray . there are more than one line inside the wire harness bundles one works the switch for the secondary air pump i almost replaced the pump before i found the problem. another line goes to the air conditioning inside car under the glove box i checked the lines with vacuum guage. my problem was due to a leaking battery.yours might be due to hot wires melting the lines which are inside the wire harness bundles ( g.m. was smart on this one huh?) because you said there was a burnt wire smell. or depending on what kind of work they did to car the vacuum line comes out from back of intake could have not been reconnected.hope this helps
