exactly what causes the headlight motor to retract the light down when you turn off the lights
the reason im asking is im thinking of building a high wattage wiring harness for the t 84 euro lights (costs about 32 bucks max to make including relays vs 80 bucks for one from daniel stern)
just wondering if there are any potential problems i could run into with the lights retracing by building my own
i think it has something to do with the fog lights or parking lights because you can turn the lights off but until the switch is off they dont go down
so theres my question

You're not on your own. There are three guys that have down HID projector retrofits into our popup lights. I'm sure they've figured it out. PM them and post back if you find out anything. You can find links to their threads here:
