From what I've read, the primary problems with the HS rockers are the roller tips. The c-clip fasteners have a tendency to come off during high rpm vibration (this problem seems to primarily be on larger cam and spring set-ups) ; this could possibly cause the rollers to disengage and grenade the valve train.
I am not sure if this problem has been remedied.
The last person that I read about on another forum, only found out about this problem after finding hi HS c-clips during an oil change.
Maybe a forum vendor that deals with HS rockers, can shed some light on any design changes.
