Default Vette Doctors Tuning.....

New Best after seeing the Vette Doctors. Before the Vette Doctors visit my best was 12.485 @ 109.31mph. After Carmen finished with the patient, tonights new best 12.345 @ 113.79mph. Check out that MPH increase If your car is under the weather give the Vette Doctors a call for a quick pick me up. Carmen considering you did this on a car 1500 miles away from you, based off an e-mail, you did one heck of a job. Guy's if your on the fence give them a call, it's the best bang for the buck your ever gonna get. Carmen Thanks again.
Bob

Nice work vette doctors! Is that considered being an outpatient?

Congrats on the increase in performance.

Wide open throttle all the time instead of the GM torque management is a beautiful thing and can really help the ET's and trap speeds. Amazing how well it works. Congrats.

Carmen is a very special man, I had to have some work done on a car that ONLY the Vette Dr's ever worked on and the car is in FLA, for the winter months,Short of offering to fly down here ( and he really hates to fly ) To get the job done, He recommended I take it to Norris Motorsports. He's always looking out for the best interest of his customers. THANKS CARMEN,

Is this the $99 tuning special that he advertised a while back? If so, that's the BEST bang for the buck EVER!

on your new found power! Great times too, by the way!

Default How hard?

Could someone please tell me; how difficult it is to remove the PCM and send it to the doctor to have it programmed? I'm going to do Longtubes this winter, and maybe a couple of other things, and I'm real interested in the mail-order tune!

Thanks,

Loudsam

I don't know. I thought I had read in a post somewhere that you had to remove the PCM. Your idea would be even easier, I think!

Loudsam, I just did the mail order tune with the Vette Docs. I'm in New York State so my car is stored in my garage for the Winter. My car is close to the garage wall on the side where the PCM is (passenger side - of course!), so it was a bit of a PITA to get out! It's right behind the front wheel behind the fender liner. If the car was out where I could get at it easier it would have been no biggie other than I have big hands and there isn't much room in where the PCM sits! I wrapped it up in bubble wrap, put in a box and sent it out UPS to Carmen on a Friday morning and the following Friday it was back at my house. I can't tell you what it's done for the performance of the car yet because again it's Winter here, but I'm expecting it to be well worth the $100. I've added LG headers, RT cats and a GHL exhaust along with a Blackwing and I think the mail order tune will be good for the car. The guys at Vette Doctors are well known and respected, so you can't go wrong. Do it!

Guy's you can do it either way. If you currently have your own licensed copy of LS Edit, just send Carmen a copy of the program and he will e-mail your new tune. If you do not own LS Edit you can send the PCM to him. Either way the final result speaks for itself.
