Default Z06 intake manifold??

Hey guys....before I purchase a new intake for my 99FRC does it really add any horsepower gains?? I have blackwing, ported maf ends, ported throttle body, LPE Longtubes, G5X2 on 112 cam, underdrive pulley, x-pipe, B&B's, LS1 edit. I have to re-edit soon since cam install, so now would be the time to install, Thanks!

I'd say at least 10 RWHP. If it's worth it to you then I say go for it!!

There is a post in the performance section of a guy who just did this on a 99 with dyno results.

You'll see more than 10 hp due to your other mods. Consider a ported throttle body to go with it.

ive seen up to 22 rwhp on cammed car, usually about 10-20 diffenently something you should upgrade to get all the power.

I did the install, it wasn't that hard. If you have ever installed a cam in a small block chevy, the only difference I saw was making sure the lifters didn't drop (they are under the head, not accessable with heads on). I've built several small and Big Block chevy engines over the years, therefore it was simple to me, if you have good mechanical abilites, it will be easy but time consuming due to all the "crap" you have to remove just to get to the engine... where are you located in our beautiful state?
