Default AFR heads??

I getting ready to buy some AFR heads & cam for my C5, what kind of RWHP should I expect from an engine with a cold air intake, GM LS6 manifold, Dynatech Supermaxx headers & corsa cat back.

There are many posts covering this set of mods: some of the signatures of members here match that list.

Need cam specs for a more accurate guess.
Need a good tune to maximize benefits of all the changes.

i agree. depends on a lot. 400-440rwhp i'd guess on 93 octane. of course depending on the cam and tune, and cats/no cats.

check my sig for 91 octane.

Really depends on cam and CR. Keep us posted on your results.

I thought you had ET PERFORMANCE heads Mark?
I do, and they are coming out in Feburary with some new stuff 225 to 255 intake port volume.
I'll be running the 225 soon

At Dave &Busters got caught over my head in discussion about ET Performance heads -5.3L ones. I thought they looked pretty good but was dismayed to hear negative remarks about them. I live in the land of "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing."

I'm still running stock LS1 heads. I was very close to doing the ET LS1 heads last season, but, decided to hold off until I got my setup dialed in. Now that it's dialed in (I hope) there are more head options. The AFR 205's look very good, but, I'm going to hold out to see what results people have with the 225's. I'm also hoping that the release of the AFR's will bring down the cost of worked over 6.0L heads - which I think would also be a decent option for my blower setup.

Cheers,

Mark

Guys - the LS7 heads are supposed to flow 370-ish STOCK. Based on the C5R head design with similar intake port and same 12* valve angle. You may want to wait
