My vote is for the short throw shifter. The extra power you might get from a better x-pipe isn't of much use if you can't "grab gears" and put it to the ground! (I'm sure that there will be many other opinions )

I would go with the short throw shifter first considering that it will make the shifting much more enjoyable and spirited...

that is not only funny - but VERY logical!

Also - just an x pipe will not get you anything power wise

Defiantly a short throw. It’s all psychological anyway with these minor mods. If you feel faster shifts and smoother shifts your going to think your faster which you quit possibly could be. But if you add something that they say will add power, you will swear up and down it added that power and again be faster!

I went with the B&M short throw Its great, very simple to install and no stop or spring adjustments to worry about. X pipe will work better with perf mufflers.

I doubt the x-pipe will give any power. The shifter is going to put a smile on your face every time you hear the snick-snick of a gear change.

I think any choice of name-brand aftermarket shifter will be better that the stock one!
