Well,my car refuses to start sometimes. This problem has occured twice .Each time the car has been towed to the agency, and the agencys can't find any problems that would cause this to happen.I don't have any current going to any thing in the car.No radio,no dash lights,no heater lights,no nothing. When it decides to start it will run for a day or two and then stop again. Both agencys worked on my car for about 8 hours searching for the problem with negative results. The battery ,stater were checked and both were good.I am afraid to drive it as I have been stranded twice.Has anybody else experienced this problem?Once the car starts,it will keep running without any problems. The agency told me I am losing power because of a bad ground, but they can't find it.Has anybody had this problem? Any suggestions?
Well, guys, you were correct! It was corroded battery cables.A&A(Andy) found the problem when he remove the battery cable.Wow,it was nasty. There wasn't any corrosion to be seen until you removed the cable. It took the guys at A&A 5 mins. to find the problem and correct it.I am a happy camper again. Thanks to all the advice I received and as usual the guts on the forum where 100% correct.

Never experienced it but.........Check the battery ground cable bolt at the block for corrosion/tightness. It's located above the starter. Also check the connection for the battery cable on the underhood fuse box and the other end at the under dash fuse block. If you follow the small cable coming off of the battery negative terminal, it goes to a stud on the frame rail between the battery and engine. Check that one also. You'll have to (re)move that plastic trim piece around the battery to get to it. Gotta ask- the battery cables are corrosion free and tight on the battery?
This problem sounds like fun and a challenge!! I will work on it tonight!!!
I have become very good at solving ground issues. Right now I have to get ready for the 12-24" of snow that we wre suppose to get here on New London CT!!!
I will get back to you later.
Check the following things for me.
What codes do you have?
How old is your battery? What type is it and is it original?

Hi,Bill, here is your challenge if you are willing to accept it.
The battery was replaced a year ago.The agency checked it and it was OK. The battery is a Delco 78-6year.Installed:3-2-2004.The agency checked the starter and it was OK.No codes were ththrown, but when the car dies it removes all thrown codes. All the average MPH,and MPG.Everything is cleared. There aren't any codes available to read. The loss of power clears eveything including locking the radio.I have to reprogram the fob,as it won't lock or unlock the doors.
