Pull key message
I just replaced my battery with an Optima red top this morning. After I started the car with the new battery I got the "pull key wait 10 sec" message. The column turned freely so I did what it said, no more message after restart. Is this normal or am I likely to have CLB problems now? No problems prior to this, BTW the car is a 2001 6 speed vert. Thanks.

You got lucky this time. Next time you get that message, you might not be so lucky. You might want to check with your friendly dealer to see if your car is listed in the recall notice.

You have a 6 speed. I'd buy the CLB and be done with it. Who wants to be stranded for something that's this maddening. Send the bill to GM.
