Does anyone know where I can locate a caliper rebuild kit? I've got a basically brand new set of calipers and there isnt anything wrong with them but I want to tear them apart and powdercoat them. I'm obviously going to need all of the seals and everything to put it back together again.
Can't beat the GM soft parts rebuild kit. Got mine from Gene at Fred Bean's. As for the pistons, there are aftermarket stainless ones, but I elected to stick with the stock. The GM kits have everything you need, including the proper lubricants. I also found I had a lot of internal cleaning to do with little bamboo skewers to get out the stuff that crusted up during the baking process. Not sure if it leached from the aluminum or what, but it took me a couple of nights after work to get them to the point I was confortable rebuilding them after returning from the powder coater. They did come out beautiful though.
