I own a 2000 convertible. My check engine light came on and has stayed on. Getting no codes or messages on display. Car runs fine. Has anyone seen this before. What can I do to turn off light myself without having to take to the dealer.
You should take it in so the mechanic (certified and trained for late model Corvettes - usually called drivability techs) can use an analyzer to find why the light came on.

Why take it to someone, you can do all of this yourself. Here is a link to tell you how to retrieve, diagnose and erase your codes.
