LOL. Currently, I own an '02 QuickSilver Vette. I think a lot of this "snob" type attitude is coming from "newbies" buying their first Vette. There once was a time when just owning a Vette was 
no matter what the "generation" or the "C" designation. I have owned one of each "generation" over the years. And, have enjoyed them all. 
I will be ordering an '06 from Kerbeck. But, I will always wave at any Vette. Because when all is said and done they are all still Vettes. Save the WAVE!
I agree entirely. I owned my first Vette when I was 22. It was a new '69 427 4-speed. And I am now 58. I am on my second C5, and I love it. I also love the new C6 and plan on having one someday. I also love the C1, C2, C3, and C4. I just plain love Corvettes...all of them. We have all got to respect the opinions of fellow Corvette owners and respect their ownership preferences. 
After all, we are all in the same brother-and-sisterhood.
