Does this make any sense????
The dealer called and told my dad his vert was in. He went up there and the car had a P top (which he didn't order), no polished wheels(which he did) and no Z-51 on it either.They told him GM is just sending out cars how they want and they will try next time they can!!!!!!! 
anyone ever heard of this before.

I wouldn't accept it if it didn't have what I wanted. Sounds like they gave his allocation to someone else. He needs to tell the dealer he knows better, then drop that dealer and buy from someone else, like a forum dealer.

It is either not his original order, or whoever put it into the VOMS botched it. This has
all over it! I would also be wary of how their other practices may be i.e. service. Be wary

It happened to me. You can check my thread "need help-vert and NAV". My vert came in and I took delivery last night and no NAV. I got the history report and it looks like the factory nixed it in November. So, they (the dealer) had 3 months to put it back--doubt if the dealer even realized that it was missing. I called GM tonight. I want NAV as ordered for $1400 installed. Good luck with yours.

I would love to know the answer to this... If they can retrofit the NAV, that answers a lot of forum questions...
