Default Head up display

There are times in life when you're forced to do something and end up glad you were. I thought, the 1SB is so much more and I could do without the heated seats and who needs a Head Up display. But I wanted the upgraded stereo without Nav, so I'm stuck. Well, as for the heated(leather) seats, I live in New York. What WAS I thinking? And now I think the Head Up is great. Different modes, you can move it up and down. Love knowing my exact speed without taking my eyes off the road for an instant. The G force display lets you know you can take a corner faster than perhaps your "feel" tells you.

I had the heads up on my two c5's and my wifes Escape has heated seats. I also live in the New York area and agree with you wholeheartedly.

I think HUD is fabulous. And I love how it integrates with the NAV system.

There is nothing superfluous about 1SB, in my opinion. In fact, I think it's a great value. Don't forget the side air bags!

The heated seats were at the top of my list with the upgrade to the 1SB and I live in South Texas. With a bad back they are great even in the summer or after exercise or a round of golf. Keeps the muscles loose. In fact I have heated seats in my Toyota pick-up and my wife has them in her Highlander. The heads up display, a no brainer, I'm a pilot. now how do program a gun sight and the radar detector info in Hi Hi. The rest of the 1 SB is well worth the money, the perforated leather seats will be cooler in the summer and the side airbags a plus. In fact the one thing I might change is the steering wheel at some time. However it is very functional as is. Lets see is there anything I don't like Yes the front end is no imune to the idiots that cut in and throw stones and stuff up at you. Oh well life is almost perfect.

When using NAV, upcoming turns, streets, and actions are indicated on the HUV alongside the current speed. [Street mode only, not track mode.] This is an icnredibly useful feature when driving in cities with frequent turns, and little time to glance to the NAV screen.

Good to know. VERY cool feature I was not aware of.

Is the Navi setup touch-screen for radio controls & CD controls as well? The C6 I drove did not have the Navi option.

How did it do that? Did you hook your radar detector up to it or something?

www.jaricdesign.com - join the forums and add your support to the C6 under the heading for vehicles to support in the future. Sorry - can't do the gunsight though.

Default Hud

HUD is one thing that drew me to the Vette. The MPH gauge is super. I have Nav and was delighted that turns are displayed in the HUD as well. The seat heaters are most welcome by my 56 yr old butt

Yea, both very cool features... I knew I'd like the HUD, but the heated seated were a real "cool" surprise...
