I have been reading this forum religiously for almost four years. If anyone has posted anything about it being "not desirable" I have not seen it. Perhaps on a forum I don't read. Sure, there will always be some people who don't like some combination, but I can tell you the Silver/Red is much more popular on the C6 than it was on the C5. The reason is the the red interior in the C6 is much richer looking than the C5.

I guess Richie Rich needs the RICH look to feel good!

Sorry guys for not chiming in sooner.. Im in Daytona FL for bike week and on dial up...

As far as the Silver and Red.. OMG I love it... one of the best combos Ive had... The silver shows the lines the best IMO... and the RED interior sets it off beautifully... and like someone else stated... its not an overpowering red... with the carpeting ebony its a perfect color ratio ...very elegant and sporty... I love it~~
