Build Dates
I've watched this forum about 5 mos. and quite a few times people have asked how to find the build date for their car. Isn't that the date on the driver's door? How many people have had problems with cars built in July of 04?

Yes, that's the month and year, but some want to know the exact day, mostly for sentimental reasons.
The VIN is usually used for deciding whether or not a particular car was built during a quality control problem.
Not many cars were built during July 2004, since the plant got a slightly late start.

Build date.... I can understand.
How about the exact time it came off the line.
My was at 3:42 pm CST on March 9th. I know. Because iiwas there, and I was the one who drove it off the line. Nothing better!
