You can "track" your car in the trailer
Customers can track the shipped car in the trailer. Here is a summary of an interesting article found in Popular Mechanics magazine May issue.
Now you can tell where your shipped car is and how long before you take delivery. Also you can tell whether or not if the car is being unloaded at various truck stops and then re-loaded.
For location, satellite tracking is at work, for cargo and door information cargo and door sensor are at work.
Tracking units are located on the container roof, transmitting location of the truck from a satellite to earth station which then can be transmited to a custumer.
Sensor within the truck uses infrared signals or sound frequencies to determine cargo information or if the door has been opened.
All this info can be viewed in real time over the internet or sent to a customer's e-mail address
Peace of mind, now you can rest easy knowing you can track your C6 during shipping.
