Nice write up and photos, wish I had had it at dealership when they removed my radio. They had a lot more trouble removing the console trim than you did. Of course they didnt have any Buds in their tool boxes.... .....Nice Job
Any of the vendors have them...you should be able to buy them for $199 less forum discount.
so does hurst have a part number for the C6 shifter now? or did you install the C5 "model"...?
It's cross referenced as the same #, however the instructions are for the C5. Not a big deal, it just tells you how to pull apart that console vs the new one.
How much harder is the shift feel?
It's just different. It feels quite a bit harder, yet I can shift twice as fast. Many members find that their wives don't like it if they change...not as buttery as stock.

twice as fast, how much is the length difference in the shaft?
Only 2 beers in 1 hr and 15 min ? Lightweight.
And you have the nerve to call yourself Lager.
Upside-down too much under the dash...I originally planned for only 45 minutes including photos...really I wasn't prepared. Showing the 2 cans in these instructions is for the average installer's consumption, not a professional.
