Are the tires on the C6 and Z06 position specfic, ie, when a tire has to be replaced, do I need to make sure that the tier dealer orders the tire for that position on the car.
My Z06 order is filled out and ready to be dropped June 16th.
The tires have to rotate a certain direction, so the same tire will fit either side, as long as they are mounted so they rotate in the direction intended...
Good question - obviously you can't change front with rears b/c of size differences. From what I can tell with the GY Supercars, these tires are not directional so you could switch sides as long as you kept on front or rear. Can someone confirm. Thanks.
Even with directional tires, the traction in dry conditions is the same with the tire rolling either direction--just don't run them in the rain bakwards unless you want to go slow and have a lot of driving challenges.
I have had good luck at MSR with directional tires running backwards. This particular track is hard on drivers side tires and easy on passenger side tires. Flipping them over mid-day evens out the wear.

The Eagle F1 Supercar tires have an asymmetric tread design while the Eagle F1 GS use directional tread.
