As several of us know left foot braking into a corner is an advance skill. We teach students to brake in straight lines only. For most drivers using the left foot to 'tap' the brake peddle to make sure you have brakes before entering a hard braking zone.

This may sound funny but I am sure there are more then one of us who went into a hard brake zone and push that brake peddle and it went to the floor or like mine did once the brake peddle did not move. turned out to be vaper lock in the brake lines along with boiling Super blue brake fluid, and glazed PFC-01 pads. Chasing a GT3 RSR Cup car has its challanges.

Braking in hard in straight lines to slow to the needed speed to enter the corner also helps explain the term ' slow in, fast out ' ( get your minds out of the gutter ) to brake hard enough that going 'into' the corner( slow in ) you are at your slowest speed, then when the car passes the apex of the corner, you roll the right foot to the floor and let the car track out ( move to the opposite side of the road ) as you accelerate out of the corner ( fast out).
