I installed my Mid America Splash Guards this weekend. It was a very simple project and only took about 20 minutes. Here are some pics of them installed on my 05 Mag Red power top vert, Auto, Nav, F55
Do you guys think that these will have any effect on aerodynamics?
Yeah, at speeds over 550 MPH they will rip off due to turbulence
I personally don't care for them because (a) they don't look like they'll do much in terms of actual splash protection and (b) the rear one doesn't look stock - it should be flush (smooth) at the top - you shouldn't see the radiused edge of it. Just my opinion. YMMV
Looks nice. What exactly went into installing them? How long did it take?
Instructions come with them. Very simple. 15/20 minutes tops. I was able to reuse the 8 plastic rivets in the front. Backs just clip on with 3 per side.
VR car. I already don't notice them. Helps alot, I drive mine daily.
I think if you rounded off the fronts like the rears are, it would look a lot better, and should protect almost as well. Bad photo chop, but something like this:

Very noticeable improvement.
The more I look at them, the better they look.

They look similar to the ones I installed on my car when I got it back in December. Mine cost $6 but mine stick out less in front. I do think they are a good idea - for me - but everyone makes their own judgment,
