Default Navigation Screen Protector

Did anyone else buy one of these. What a piece of ___. It's not anywhere close to the right size. And on the website it says that it's static cling. But it's got adhesive on it.

I've had Nav on my last 3 cars before the C6 and never used anything. All of them were just fine. I don't think any kind of protector is necessary.

Where did you get it? Inquiring minds want to know where not to get one.

I don't like it either. My biggest problem is that there's too much glare in the sunlight. I could barely see the screen during the day. However, I do eat in my car and thought the cover would nice to protect the screen.

You're right about the adhesive part. I did not leave a film when I peeled it off, but I was hoping to save it, either to use later or to give to someone else. Oh well. It was only $7 with shipping. I lose that much money in a week...

Its a VINYL with a lite adhesive, like used on radios that come from the factory. You know that vinyl that protects it from the get go. When you would remove it, it leaves zero glue.

The fact is, LCD's dont have static and we found this material to be the best way for our product to effective and also be of quality.

We found a great solution.. weve tried it, it works and that is why we finally released it.

I hope those that did order it, will use it, or at least try it.

Id also like to know if you do have a fitment issue, please email us. They have been cut to fit the screens, they have been measured twice, cut, and fitted and unless GM changes the size of the screens, that is the size we had.

Thanks!

I ordered mine 6 weeks ago and I'm still waiting for it. It wasn't supposed to have adhesive. Thanks for the heads-up on that, there's no way I'm going to stick an adhesive on my screen. A $7 lesson learned.

If you ordered it from a forum vender the one I'm thinking of dont hold your breath there has been a lot of complaints about waiting weeks & weeks for his products. But he is very fast to comment on competitors products here. I can tell you of Vendors I have used & they are reliable. Autogeek.net, brite ideas, Corvettes of Houston.

I believe we had orders frm 6 weeks ago, and they have all shipped out. We have them instock now and ready to order.

Sorry to those that have waited, but we didnt want to ship it if it didnt work. We could have but chose not to. Dont want another Z51 problem. Had to make sure it did its job correctly the first time!

Thanks!

Michael

P.S. Transpartent top upholstered headliner coming soon. Also a CD Center Console Super Soft Cushion Cover. We will have the pictures and hopefully our prototype will work as planned. Once we figure it all out and make sure it looks good and works good we will let you know. We will post a complete update, possibly Friday!
