Alignment Estimate
How long should a 4 wheel alignment take for the C6 ? And do the tires have to cool off to bring them to recommended cold inflation pressure before the alignment can begin ?

The alignment time depends on how many adjustments have to be made. It everything is within specs the time is shorter than if the tech has to adjust camber, castor and toe.
Tire pressure can be checked when tires are at ambient temp. The easy way is to use the DIC to check pressure when you 1st drive off in the morning.

The time required depends mostly on the techs familiarity with the car and his equipment. My alignment was $99 and took about 45 minutes with everything adjusted at least once since changing one aspect of the alignment setting disturbs the previous setting. The tech will be back and forth under the car to get all the specs where you want them.
BTW; If you are going to lower the car, do it before you pay for an alignment, lowering changes the alignment specs and weight balance.
