Default Buying that C6

Concerning the invoice thing, remember the C6 is still a limited production car. They make about 150 per day compared to 1,500 per day for the new Mustang. You expect to get invoice pricing on cars that flood the market, near the end of their model year. That just doesn't happen often with Corvettes. Factory incentives probably will happen when the C7's are about to come out; dealers will add greater discounts once they have C7's and want to move any remaining C6's. IMO 4-5K in savings is not worth waiting to own a C6 and a C6 wont feel nearly as special once the C7's are out.

I am not so easily impressed (911,S2000, RX-8 owner) and I have to say I hate the corvette image (hairy chest, medallion,he-man etc) but I GOTTA have one.

Now for my question, I am not prepared to pay over invoice for a corvette coupe and we all know thats where the price will probably end up. Is there anywhere I can get an invoice deal right now??

BTW great forum!

I am a Jet-Jocky, 34 years old, single-no hairy chest and gold chains on my neck!

I have a TPW of 8/22 and I got mine for $3500 under MSRP, but that was through allocation which they don't have for 2005's anymore. I doubt you will get that good a deal off the lot, but $2000 under should be reasonable.

If you want something for invoice, you better stick to the a$$ ugly Z4.

Good luck.

I don't know what you call fair, but I just got my C6 convertible for
$6,200 off of MSRP. Boy,that sure sounded fair to me.(actual deal was for
invoice + $200.00 & I made them throw in 2 free Corvette C6 hats to boot).
