Default Event Code

...anybody has an idea what "release to palm" means in the production code sequence...From what i understand it is below 2500 since it is not yet preferenced but enough to forecast an October production as this time...

Thanks

P.S. "I amy not have speel the "palm" acronyme correctly...

That doesn't sound remotely familiar. Do you have the actual event code? There is no way to forcast a car for October yet.

Dave: A little off subject, but will the cars that are now at 2500 most likely be built in Sept?

Hi Dave ...I know this is why I am puzzled as well..i just wondered if it might be an allocation loop..the only thing i have is the GM order ackowlegment which state order number A17100 wich is different from the alphabetical order number I have seen. My salesman called me to report this as a "progress"...and he reported it as seen in the order system...This might be another Canadian thing?

I didn't notice that you were from Canada. In that case it probably is a Canadian thing. Maybe you are at the equivalent of Status Code 1101 which is accepted by GM.
