Had not driven my 60 vette since I got the new vert. 45 years of technology improvements makes a slight difference. I'm afraid the 60, as classic and great as it looks, will be relegated to weekend car shows. This C6 just wants to be driven all the time.
Just remember, while your C1 is appreciating like crazy, your C6's value is dropping like a rock. When I had my new C5, I had the same problem. I ended up getting rid of the C5 because I preferred to drive my 60.

This is obviously true. But, no one should buy a new Corvette as an investment as a C1 or C2 might be. The C6 should be bought for the pleasure it provides its owner because he/she likely won't live long enough to see any real appreciation in value.
Isn't the 62 or any older Corvette going to be more expensive/trouble to maintain
compared to the C-6 even though the C-6 is full of sensors and electronics that can also be alot of problems.
True, the older ones can be costly to maintain especially if you can't do any of the work yourself. Mine is already restored, so the only money I'm putting in it is to keep it running - minor costs compared to the $$$ spent for mods on the new one.
When it comes time to sell my '62 I plan to recoup most if not all of my costs.
