I talked with Ernie a while back and he said these were take-offs from a black vette. If you want them im sure he can get them for you
btw the Carrera GT and Ferrari have a carbon fiber body they just opted to not paint the housing but I do think Carbon Fiber lights would look nice

Painting Headlights
I used to have a Honda s2000. The guys over at S2ki.com figured out how to bake the headlight to break the glue on the seal, open them, remove parts like the orange turn signal and reglue them. They had it down to a science. Look under the term, "clearing headlights"
