I didnt clarify before, sorry. My car is in an underground garage. There is no outlets for any battery tenders. How should i store it from Nov. to April? Its not a daily driver,i have 3 cars.If it matters i have chrome wheels on them.
If you are not going to drive it during those months simply pull the positive connection off the battery. Should only take a minute or two and it won't hurt anything.
Since you have a C6 your battery is a platinum pro - Glass mat battery (same tech as the Optimal). It is sealed so acid will not leak. These batteries last a long time they take a lot of punishment, resist a lot of vibration so it wont discharge as easy, they also are sealed, you don't have to worry about leaks or fumes. You don't even have to pull the battery out of the engine. Just keep the negative terminal disconnected and put some stabil in the gas tank.
I have a 89 C4 and replaced my leaky battery with a Platinum Pro 3 years ago and I store it with no starting problems.
For the little effort demanded I am taking the battery right out of evry car i put away for the winter and give it a tickle charge every month... For my miata I bought a quick battery disconnest that work very well if the car is to sit for a couple week( Miata's use a Gel Cell intead of conventionnal battery that you just can't let drain)... It come with a Milliamps brige so you wont loose your radio or memory settings ...here is the link from a web vendor...I've got mine at Wal-Mart...Vette is not here yet but i will get one of those for it all well
besides battery issue, there is "de-oiling" the top end of the car and then there is flat spotting the tires... can't you start and just drive a bit (if foul weather...snow/sluch/salt is issue then drive within underground parking area)...assume you will also cover during period.
Just an opinion...
