Default Poor me

I traded my 05 H2 for an 05 C6 1SX MN6 Machine Silver two Saturdays ago. The Friday prior, I had a backache that has since left me laying on the floor for the last ten some odd days. Needless to say, I am further agonized by the fact that my vette is sitting in the driveway

I wanted to take some time (since I have so much of it) to thank all of you for your fine information, pics, videos, and comments. They have kept me entertained in otherwise poor life quality moments. I can't wait to get behind the wheel. Thank you, Tony Pan

Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

Here's hoping you are able to drive your new car soon. And you have great taste in colors. I'm on my second Machine Silver C6

Don't they recomend traction sometimes for such ailments...? So, why not go get some Horizontal traction from running that 'vette! It was strictly for theraputic purposes only, officer!

Seriously, hope you can enjoy your ride soon, and get pain free.

L3-L4, L4-L5, and L5-S1 disc herniations. 6mm,10mm, and 3mm respectively. Very painful, but eased by thoughts of rowing through the gears soon.

Haven't had to deal with any major back problems here, at least not yet. Wishing you a quick and permanent recovery.

I feel for you.
Ten years ago I had surgery on L5-S1. Surgeon said no more tennis and stiff sports car.
I play tennis like hell and drive my Vette like........... . But I exercise 15 minutes four times a week.
If your condition let you have surgery do it. Do it for you ........and for the sake of your Vette. No more back pain and a lot of grins
Good luck

Holy crap. I have L5-S1 and that is bad enough. I know exactly what you are going through. Please do not rush into back surgery---PM me first.
I hope you feel better

My wife has an interior ?anterior? protusion of her L4 from a climbing accident.

Sometimes at work she has to lift heavy patients and that irratates her back.

An "Inversion table" does wonders for her as it helps straighten her back and takes the pressure off the spine. Although not a 100% cure for her, it does greatly help. Streatching exercises with her legs also help straighten her back.

I'm not a doctor, but I would consult one to see if this might help. It's still considered kind of new far as treatments go.

Thanks for all the well wishes. I love this forum...I've learned a lot and made many decisions based off members' information/advice/opinions. I have already ordered: a Pioneer AVIC-D2, Eradispeed rotors, caliper paint (red), side vent screens, front grill screen, Competition gray wheels from Bob at House of Wheels (great to deal with btw), and a set of Magnaflow 14335's. I cannot wait to get better
