I am currently 21 and purchased my first vette ('05 vert) in July and took delivery in August. However, I blame my vette fever on my father for letting me drive his '96 when I was 18

13 when I talked my dad into buying a new 1984 C4. It was April, 1983, when they first came out. Silver / Gray. Luckily for me, it had Z51, rode like a Mack truck, and he hated it so much I got to drive it most of the time once I got my license. Boy, I must have looked like a spoiled rotten brat! 
I wasn't, though; eventually my dad traded it for a Mark VII and that was that. 
35 when I got my C6 Vert, April 05. First one I can legitimately call my own, although that's sketchy too, as it's in my wife's name!

I just got my first vette an 05 C6 Machine Silver MN6 at the ripe old age of 42. I liked the C1s, Loved the C2s, didn't particularly care for t he C3s and C4, but the C5 rekindled my love affair with the vette.
My previous 2 cars had been Ford Rangers, nice reliable vehicles, Actually still have both rangers, but nothing like the vette.

I was 20 when I bought my first, a dark blue 1981. We had a lot of fun together during the eight years that I owned it. I'd buy it back if I could find it again. I also had a '68 tripower vert, an '89 vert, and my '98 coupe is my 4th Vette.

I was 18 when I bought my first 'Vette. My father co-signed a loan and for $10,000 (way overpriced!) I bought a 1978 black coupe with beige interior. I drove it for 2 years and sold it for $6,500.00. I bought my second 'Vette 20 years later, passing up on the entire C4 production (sorry C4 lovers...I just couldn't get into the body style). I bought a 1998 black coupe and drove it for two years (there seems to be a pattern here!). And now, three plus years later, I am buying my third black coupe. This time a 2006 Z51 MN6. I just may keep this one for more than two years!
