If GM engineering really thought a wing would help they'd have installed one. The Audi TT had an automatic one...I think it helped to keep the car from losing control at highway speeds

I guess if you want one, you should have one but the aerodynamics on this beast are pretty good. Do you want it for show, for conversation or for performance. Incidentally, the Crossfire is kind of a rehash of old MB with new styling tweaks...is that what you want?

No. I'm thrilled with my car the way it is.

My vote: keep the car as SIMPLE as possible! What street car needs a retracting spoiler?

I know the current Vette is already insanely complex, but let's not make it worse. The less gadgets, the less stuff to break and/or give us headaches.

The current small fixed spoiler is PERFECT! That's my opinion anyway.

As for a fixed large spoiler wing... it would have no purpose for street use, would look silly. If GM must put one on, I hope the spoiler would come off easily with a few bolts or screws.

Dave Hill and his team had the C6 in the wind tunnel for over 400 hours designing the car so it would run at 186 miles (ZO6 - 200 MPH) per hour without a wing. Why should one be added???

A proper flat under body, with venturi tunnels, for serious downforce.

Guys and gals, this is a street car that hit 186 mph on the freakin' autobahn. Why not stick two wings on it, maybe it'll fly?

No doubt that a wing that generates good downforce would improve the high speed handling and stability of a car....

The new Bugatti Veyron that is in the C&D Nov. magazine generates 770 lbs of downforce with its rear wing fully extended...

The car that has made better used of a wing is the 911......

In my humble opinion, wings typically look like crap, especially on Vettes. I have a 1998 Supra Turbo with the rear wing. I think this car "looks" like the wing should be there, but very few cars do. The Ferrari Enzo does it with a flat undercarriage and great aero tricks.

The upcoming Bugatti needed one to stay stable, but come on, it goes OVER 250 mph. The Vette does not need one.
