2005 Owners......any Regrets?

Wish the car felt as tight as my Z06, but that's about it. The performance (my big fear) is right there with the Z, and I have the targa roof back so I am very happy with this car.
Seeing what can be done with the LS-2, I am VERY happy I did not try to wait on the new Z06 amd compromise the open-air option while spending $20K more. That would have been plain foolish. I did that once with the Z06 and will never do that again.
Now...maybe if GM adds a targa...the story will change.

I'm on my second one. The first was a coupe I ordered and took delivery of November 1 last year. The only problem was that the MP3 player would not play past track 5. With the help of the forum, I fixed it myself. Seven months and 3,000 miles - no other problem with that car. OH, and that's the car I ran a 12.499 @ 114.9 in!
May 31 I got a great deal on the vert pictured below. It now has about 2,700 miles on it. The only issue is that in stop and go traffic the idle sometimes wavers between 400 & 800 rpm a few times before settling down. The dealer finds nothing wrong, btw
That's the extent of my problems. Am I happy? Hell yes

Absolutely no regrets! Extremely glad I went with the Z51 option for the BlueCoupe too. The car is much better than expected, and with over 5,000 miles it SCREAMS.

Mine is such a poorly put together pos, it spends on average one day a week in the shop. I should have never traded in my near perfect '04 for this '05. Never again.

Museum delivery, vert, all the toys, mag red(last week produced),f55,mn6--I love this car--zero problems. Had to settle for black top to get Mag red but I don't regret it

Regrets?
NAW! I love the damn car! Mag Red vert with power top AND 800 almost trouble free miles since April. I also joined the DBS Club(3x) but in all honesty, they may ALL have been my fault??? Not really sure. Get boo koo comments on the car, love the color although I must admit I also like the Montery Red color too(my wife better not hear this!), AND YES, I LOVE MY WART TOO! I think it looks cool there, period! To each his own.
Ciao
ps. the only actual regret was not getting the museum delivery because of GM restraining the pwr tops and then stopping the color. Had to hunt my car down with the great help and skill of St. Pauley's Auto Brokers(online) who found it in 2 days BEFORE it was unloaded off the truck.
