Averaging about 23 MPG with 8500 miles on my 05 C6. About 60%-70% of my mileage is between towns at 55-60 MPH. The rest is in town. Hardly ever get on the interstate.
If I don't reset the control - I get about 18-19 mpg in town. I drove to LA from Las Vegas and back last Saturday and got 27.2 of which part was stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic on 101 in LA and then running well above 100 between Barstow and Baker on the way back. I looked at the instant mpg when I was at 110 on cruise and it was 25 mpg. I love this car on the road.
C6 A4 - Daily driver average over first 12k miles is 22.
Average on recent 2500 mi road trip was 27.
I won the Eureka Springs fuel economy run for the C6/A4 category with just over 32mpg.
17.8 city not sure highway, not on one long enough to notice yet.
Sorry if I'm out of place with a C4
PS it has an auto and the wonderful highway gears
24 MPG with 4.10 gears on interstate with an easy driving routine in my 2006. Also, have Cartek's stage 1 package with Kooks headers, hiflow cats and x-pipe, torgue management, 160 degree thermostat and fan modules, and drivers side hardened output shaft.
