Default Various -- need some help

I have done a search for z51 sway bar part numbers and have found lots of discussion threads, but no part numbers. Maybe I didn't look carefully enough, but can someone help me out with the numbers. My local dealer (Colorado Springs) cannot sort it out for me.

My dealer tells me that the body color interior trim kit is not available to accommodate the Magenetic Ride Control switch. If this is true, I think I'll have the standard pieces removed and painted at the body shop. Anyone tried that?

Final question: We had a cold snap here and I got a low tire pressure warning. Readout said 23-24 psi for all wheels. I was surprised to see it drop that much with temperature and checked it with a good quality dial-type gage and it read 28psi at each wheel. I added air to 30psi by my gage and double checked with a plunger-type gage that read 1 lb lower (29 psi). The dash readout is now at 26. Could the wheel sensors be that wrong. What should I believe?

Thanks!

Expect about 1 lb of pressure drop per 10 degrees F. More than that may indicate excessive moisture in the tires, you can have then filled with dry nitrogen if this is a problem.

I find I bump tire pressure about 2 PSI twice during the fall as the average temperature falls. I try to set mine at or near the expected average low temperature for the next month (info available from the National Weather Service).

Regarding the difference, what's the altitude there? The wheel sensors read absolute pressure where most gages read relative pressure. Air pressure drops about a 1 PSI per 1300 feet, so if you're up in the Colorado mountains a 3 or 4 PSI difference could be possible. You want the relative pressure around 30 PSI, so if you've got a significant offset you'll need to figure it in.

As far as the interior trim...the switch surround is not included. I had my door handles and rear spoiler painted at the local Chevy dealer. Came out a perfect match.

The altitude thing is an excellent point...hadn't thought of that and I'm in Englewood, 5400' up. Thanks for this.

Thanks!
My DIC is reading 2 lbs lower all around, than when measured at the tires with a good digital gauge.
I lost a few lbs recently due to lower temperatures, and I'm at 500 ft above sea level.
