Remote Start in a C6 A6
Does GM offer a remote start that you can add to the C6? Im concerned if I go aftermarket, it will interfere w/ the KeyFob System. I also want to add alarm, but have the same concerns. Any ideas?

never heard of one for the vette. it would probably be pretty expensive though, not your typical alarm add on due to the keyless start/fob. i would think it would have to be integrated somehow with the on board computer like the fob is.

I shudder to think of all the things that could go wrong if you start adding aftermarket alarms etc. Maybe if GM offered an integrated system it would be OK but I doubt they will as the system in place is pretty good as it is. Ditto with remote start since it could only work with automatics I don't see GM ever offering it on a car that has a manual option.
