Any ideas on what colors GM plans to introduce? I'm a big fan of the new Electron Blue, I wonder if a similar color will continue??
I think the general rule is: once you get past your basic red, black, silver, and white, they don't carry colors over from one generation to the next. Not exact colors anyway. As much as some people love blue, fact is it's been awhile since any blue color on a vette was successful.
I read somewhere that Corvette has someone new in charge of paint colors and was responsible for EB. I hope EB is an indication GM plans to offer more "unique to the Corvette" colors.
For my C6, I'm hoping they continue to have some sort of Mag Red or maybe Pewter.

I would like to see a reintroduction of a blue interior, or give mixed color interiors like the combination on the Z06. Whatever they do, don't get rid of the great selection of colors inside and out, the Corvette has always been about making it yours

It is true that GM has a a new color person who promises some fabulous colors in the future.
So once you get past the popular black, red, silver...expect some new exciting colors.
BTW, the color specialist is a woman and I do not recall her name.
I'll be expecting a gold, purple, and raspberry shade. Boldness is in! :hat

I know everything comes back to cost, but really, what is the cost in offering a BUNCH of colors on the car? So the customer has to wait a while to get the car, it will be what he WANTS, not what he has to settle for. I really applaud Porsche for letting you do whatever you want to the car you order (including, but not limited to, making the interior and exterior ANY color you want, at extra cost, of course).

The real question here is can they paint them in the factory. It is a dam shame that in the year 2001 they can't paint gold and make it work. It took them 4 years to make yellow work and then have the nerve to charge you for it.
The whole problem is that they only put 2 coats of sealer and 2 coats of color and 2 coats of clear and it doesn't cover and hide very well.
Put more paint on the car and do the job right.

I really hope they get past the basic colors we see today, and come up with something a bit different and a bit more variety. I realize changing paint causes production problems, but geez, a bit more variety is not all bad.
Add 3 more colors to the line..... Let get some variety :mad
