100hp increase and Bose is OUT! Sam Levenson will now be providing the sound system and the solution to the DBS will be first implimented!

Seriously - buy your 06 and enjoy, you have waited long enough!

Well, if you're like me and can live with "only" 400 hp then go for it now. Kinda hopefully kidding now when I say that you might get your car in 07 if you order now with all the problems with wheels and bankruptcies etc. My bet is that gm will ride on the 06 design for a couple of years with very little if any changes.

Cars get better every year. Yes, technology will produce better vettes. If you keep waiting for the future model, that's just what you'll end up doing......waiting!

Tomorrow is promised to nobody, go out and treat yourself. You can always upgrade if conditions warrant it!

It is just like buying a computer, the next model always does more, but unlike computers, the next model costs more.

It is doubtful that there will be any styling changes since the design is so new. But a bump in horsepower is almost certain since there are too many cars in the 400 HP league now. You will probably see a new color or two with some other colors discontinued.

I have a friend who has a second cousin whose uncle works with a guy who knows someone in the know at GM's Chevrolet Division. He has learned that there will be two new colors for '07 that will blow your socks off (metallic black and teal metallic). The cost for these optional colors will be $1200). Option body side molding in painted or polished stainless steel will be avialable. The Corvette is also slated for a slight bump in HP (25 is the rumor) and Z51 will be standard equipment (FE1 and F55 will be options).Z51 emblems will be standard equipment or FE1 or F55 emblems employed if those options are selected. Painted wheels will be the only option for '07 however, the option of chrome hub caps will be available. There is also speculation that there will be a new rear facia but, that may not be added until '08.

I hope this inside information will prove of value in making your buying decission.
