I use both itunes for my ipod and MusicMatch for my MP3 CDs.
I have no trouble sharing tracks between the two, but the trick is to have MP3 files (193kbps?) saved to your computer that will work in the libraries of either software. When I download tracks to my ipod, the track names in my itunes library reference MP3 files in another location...when itunes downloads them to my ipod, it converts them to 128kbps and their proprietary format, but it doesn't affect my MP3 source files.
Some posters prefer itunes to burn MP3 CDs, but I prefer MusicMatch...it's easier to organize my music and the presentation is easier to understand than itunes IMO. I use itunes only for the ipod.

Do you have the tracks in more than one fold on the CD? If so how do you do that with iTunes? It's when you have more than one fold on the CD that you are limitied to eight characters.

I use both iTunes and Musicmatch much like you. What I was saying is if you change the file name of a song on your computer then iTunes program will no longer be able to find it. You will have remove it then add it back to the itunes library with the new file name.

Yep. Been there, done that...changing the file name after adding them into the library raises heck with either software.
Once you decide on a standard file name form for your MP3 files, no more problems. I have found some track/file names do not automatically copy to your computer from a CD in the format you prefer (even with the preferred format built into MusicMatch)...I have had to go into MusicMatch "Edit Track Info" and "Rename" the files using my selected format. Just don't forget to click the "Apply" button.
If you are doing your own MP3 mix CDs, here is a nifty little program (freeware) that normalizes the volume of a group of MP3 files, so you don't need to keep reaching for the volume ****. This was a real problem with my old rock & roll mixes...
You run this program on the MP3 files before you burn them to the CD.

MusicMatch also does volume leveling...it is an essential option IMO.
abrimberry, if by "Track List", you mean a display of the next few track titles, the Bose 6CD doesn't have the luxury of a big display screen like the Nav, so I am limited to the data on the track that is playing. You can see the title, artist, album, and folder by scrolling through with the "i" button...Or, you can scroll through the folder names on the CD by pushing the << and >> buttons.
My results on getting all four items of data to show on the display has been mixed; most tracks show all four data items, but some tracks show only the title and the artist. It's a mystery I cannot decipher.
