It is easy to do

Did I read somewhere that the button on the shifter on the A6 was moved from the top (A4) to the front? I know the A6 is in the front, but I don't know about the A4.

I'm glad you didn't ! ...Brave souls had to beta test the C6, so the 2006 didn't suffer the same birthing pains as the the 2005. (Not to mention left over drive train components!)

BTW, feel free to post my quote in its original form or an edited version, but not an altered version. Thanks.

Looks like the beta testing continues with the '06 models as well. Especially that A6 transmission.

I am sure that '07 owners will thank the brave souls presently doing the testing on the A6.

Yeah, reading the pages of this forum, that A6 has been nothing but trouble hasn't it??

How many members have posted complaints about its performance (Not if they like those silly paddles), but actual function and performance? Three maybe?

At least that many. 4 people in this thread alone

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...4&page=1&pp=20

But its early yet. And there is already a TSB.

Probably nothing that they can't get worked out in the 2007 model.

Okay, guilty as charged...I added "price increase" to your list. It is true though, isn't it? And hey, I'm a guy; what do you mean by "birthing pains"?

OK... I have an 05 A4 3:15 , F55 setup and could not be happier. I'm not sure what all the fuss is about regarding the 05 auto tranny.

Well I could be happier if the car was a Z06....... I'm waiting till 07' for that little purchase

NCM is a must on any new purchase.......

Where'd you get the reduced ragtop bubble at speed from? I have an 05 and never noticed any problems up to about 100. How fast do you have to go before this bubble becomes an issue?
