Default Changing Order?

Once an order has been placed and picked up by GM can the owner info be changed? I picked up a Z06 that someone backed out on but the dealership is telling me they cannot change the owner info even though i changed colors and options.
The name is only a small issue but it would be nice when spending 70K to have my name on the window sticker. Who knows i might keep this car forever!!!

Your name typically doesn't make it on the window sticker, the dealers name does, as for option changes, my order was accepted and I changed the colors and two options a week later, so it may be possible depending on the status of your unit and where it is in the production schedule. Hope this helps

I thought that it did but maybe it is just on the purchase order they turn in to GM. If that is the case then no big deal. I thought if you ordered it your name would be on the sticker and that would be nice to frame and keep with the car for the future.

Your name is not on the window sticker. The dealer to whom delivered is on the lower left of the sticker. The plant manufacturers the car for the dealer and the dealer sells it to whoever.

If you do a NCM delivery the museum does a separate page with your name on it that they display by your car when you pick it up.

If the car was ordered as a sold order your last name or part of it will appear on the dealers invoice on the right along side the letters " DAN "
