Default 2LT and 3lt differences

Other than the heads up display and power mirrors etc. is there a major difference in terms of the seats. IE the leather used and the power functions that the seat has. I would appreciate any help as im torn between which package to order. Thanks

The main thing myself is that the seats have all the adjustments and are power. I'm on the fence regarding all the electronic toys(heads up display the bose sound system) for the guys here that have it can you tell me if its really worth the extra 3800 for the convience or is it a lot of frills for the money? Also so the leather is exactly the same in the 2LT and 3LT as well. I remeber reading somewhere that the 3lt has perforated leather whereas the 2lt does not.

well ymmv I do not like 2 remotes bouncing around the hud rocks, I wanted the memory package having an autodim mirror is great I could have lived with manual telescope but it is cool when you exit.. For me it is a toy and I wanted and could afford the bells and whistles. If you want to avoid spending the money the car well still be a corvette without them. I don't think anyone can tell your $ and priorities

I got the 3LT. I like it. I'd buy it again.

Perforated leather comes with the 3LT heated seats I believe.

3LT has lot's of things heated which is nice if your in the North. HUS is nice to have especially if you get NAV where the directions display on the HUD. Power seats & mirrors are good if otherpeople drive the car.

I'm a VERY new owner of my first Vette. I've had my 2006 vert. A6 for just a few of weeks now and just rolled 600 miles. I have the 3LT option and I really appreciate the upgrades.

It's really funny in fact. Of all the really cool stuff about the car, my wife is absolutely in love with the heated seats. It's the first car we've ever had them in. We live in the Georgia and it's only been in down in the 40's and 50's but she still turns on the "bun warmer" and gets the biggest smile on her face because of those heated seats.

As far as the power seats are concerned, in other cars, I like to vary them slightly on long trips. They are a plus for me.

I personally like the HUD. It may be the "cool factor" but I do pay more attention to my speed than I think I would without it.

Remote in the visor is nice. I don't have to fumble for it in the console.

Bose system is the best "stock" system I've heard and it really works well in with the top down. It may be January and cool even in the South but I could not resist when it got up to 65 the other day.

I passed on the NAV system, Onstar, and the power top options but I'm glad I got all the other "goodies".

It is a matter of opinion and what's important to you. For me the 3LT option was a must have. It's just too great of a car not to have a few "bells and whistles". :o

I also debated between the 2LT and 3LT package. The only thing I really wanted was the HUD and did not see paying an extra $3800 just to get the HUD. However finally decided to get the 3LT since a friend told me that it is best to spend the extra money for other stuff that you will not use (heated seats, I live in CA) then to be sorry that you did not get the 3LT package. After all, you will probably have the C6 for at least 3-5 years.

Seats are the same in the 2LT and 3LT. The 1LT has does not have perforated leather, lumbar adjust, or the built in side air bags. Passanger side LT1 seat is manual - no power.

I've decided on the 2LT. For me, money is a factor, and the Vette will be my only car, not just a toy. I'd like the HUD and memory package, but I REALLY like getting a Corvette for under $47K. The 2LT is identical to the 3LT in look and feel; same seats, colors, airbags and so on. I'll be delighted; I'm sure of it.

Just get the 3LT package, you won't regret it. Also better to have things you don't necessarily need than to wish you had it but can't upgrade.

I have a 2LT on order. The only thing I cared about in the 3LT is the HUD. I'll probably get a new one again in two years. If planned to keep it longterm, I might have gone for the 3LT.

I bought the 2LT... a choice I made after a full year of thought and consideration.

As it is I'm overwhelmed by the plethora of nifty features the car has. I don't feel I am missing out on anything. The DIC alone will keep you well occupied. The climate control system is excellent, no need for heated seats. The nice big round gauges in the dash are very easy to read, day or night, I don't see any need for an HUD.

The only part of the 3LT that might actually be of real practical use is the telescoping steering wheel. I find my 2LT steering wheel to be in a good position, but the more adjustability, the better.

There's something to be said for not having TOO many toys and gadgets in a car. Less distraction. Less stuff to break and necessitate a trip to the dealer.

It's ultimately a personal choice of course. All depends on what you expect out of the car and how you will use it.

If you enjoy lots of extra toys and don't mind parting with another $3300 or so, certainly get the 3LT. But if you are trying to keep the cost down, and are really only interested in buying the car for the serious performance vehicle it is, the 2LT is way more than enough in my opinion.

I love my 2LT, I wouldn't want it any other way.

Default I got the 2LT and am very happy:

radio is better than I expected (except no Ipod input which none have); interior looks the same and less things to go wrong in addition to the money you save. I didn't want to see my speed constantly in front of my face. Most will be happy with either package.

I live in CA and thought I'd never use the heated seats on my Tahoe, but I actually use it a lot. Sore back? Heated seats! (Great after a night of playing sports.)

I'm getting the 3LT mostly because of the auto-adjust/memory options for 2 drivers.

I also love the self-dimming mirrors for night on my Tahoe, so I need to get the 3LT for that feature.

I got the 1LT and I am very happy with it. I live in Socal and don't need heated seats. I am also single so I don't need any memory features for the seat settings and certainly don't need a power passenger seat, just extra weight. I did get the Z51 with an MN6. I did think about the side airbags for a while though. I wanted a pretty pure sports car and that's what I got!
