To get back on topic, I've been trying to figure out what to do for a while. SteveGermany definitely has the most knowledge about the system. Shopdog has a lot of experience with it too.
Check out Chad's system - Triple Black C6 - he did a great upgrade in a vert with JL subs in the back. Beautiful pics on the forum. Just look for his posts.
I'm probably gonna go with JL subs in the storage compartments and an amp to run them. I was going to change the rest of the speakers too, but I just heard VetteJoels systema and this may have changed my mind. He put in JL subs and added tweeters only. That's right; put tweeters on the pillars and tied them to the front speakers. Somehow it sounds awesome!
