Window indexing??

Window indexing??

I have an C6 conv.The drivers side indexing does not index to the full closed position when I get out of the car.I have to go to the passenger side, push on the accessory and close the window from the passenger side.Has anyone had this problem,would you e-mail back to me with your findings.Tks.

Close the window all the way then press the up button for 3 seconds and let go Then press the up button for 3 more seconds. Now it should index correctly.

Won't they also require re-indexing after a battery disconnect?

Yes, they do -- per the manual. My windows were off just last week after the car had a "moment" where it didn't start immediately. It recovered in a minute and did start but it was enough to mess up the indexing. This is with the A6 and was not a DBS as near as I can tell but most like due to not driving the car for several days while having my cell phone and iPod Shuffle plugged in and charging that drained down the battery.

BTW, resetting window indexing is in the owner's manual.
