Default Window Valet Question

I installed the Window Valet on my C6 and it is an awesome product! However, when using the express up or down functions, the windows do not go all the way up or down in one continuous motion. There are three distinct momentary pauses in the window movement. On a couple of occasions, the third pause was when the window was about 1/2" below the seal and the window stopped as if in vent mode. I had to repeat the procedure to get the windows to go all the way up.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is this normal?

Does not seem normal to me - mine is smooth all the way.

My windows hesitate or slow down a couple of times going up, but I have never seen them fail to close completely. Of course, I am not using that particular function very much right now in the cold. We'll see as spring and summer (finally) roll around.

Friendly Ghost - I installed it about a month ago, and it worked perfectly. This weekend I used it and noticed the same thing with the hesitation. BUT I think that I traced it down.

I was pushing the buttons more than 3 times (for some reason, I was thinking that it needed 6 times), and it was picking up the additional button pushes and hesitating the lowering or raising of the windows.

After that and a battery charge, it was perfect!!!
