I pulled the trigger...
The color is BEAUTIFUL. Way better than pictures make it out to be. Looks great with a black top & black leather. Even the stock painted wheels look good. I had wished it had polished, but after looking at the polished wheels on the coupe inside, I can see what you all are talking about. Milky. I think I'll live with the std rims until I get some Z06-style rims.
Power, well....I'm speechless. Awesome. What really gets me, though, is that the car is so drivable. It's like you have to dig into the pedal a little to get it, but if you're just going to the store and not looking for any trouble, it drives like a normal car. The car'w front end certainly does jump up (like a boat acheiving hydroplaning) when you stomp on it.
Paddles - my commuting makes auto a must. Played with the paddles, and they seem half gimmick, half functional. Gimicky due to the delay in shifting, but functional in that they feel high quality in build, and that they do in fact do what theyre supposed to. Now that I can comment as an owner, if you're a racer, get a stick. If you're not going to race, the auto is a great option. I don't see myself using the paddles that often, unless I feel like starting from first gear.
F55 - I DO feel a difference between touring and sport. Touring is a very smooth ride - very pleasant. Sport, you can feel the little bumps in the road. Haven't come close to putting handling to its paces, so can't comment on actual handling differences...just road feel.
Paint - slight OP in the clearcoat, but it's invisible on the MR. The metallic color hides it extremely well. A yellow vette on the showroom floor had OP and you could see it plainly, due to the monocolor. If you hate OP, get a metallic paint car.
Build quality - so far, so good. All the panels matched up nice.
FOB - man, I'm going to have to get used to this. As an absent minded person, I hate getting that feeling that I forgot to do something. Leaving the car without turning the key off and putting it in your pocket gives me that "what did I forget" feeling....I'll get used to it, I'm sure.
Dealership - Treated me very well, though since it was late, I was ushered out after the paperwork was done without a full go-through. I'm supposed to bring it back at my leisure for a full complementary buff-out detail - fine by me. No attempts to sell paint sealant, extended warranties, etc. One guy knew alot about vettes (he's had 26 of them), and helped me pass the time while the finance guy did his thing.
So, I'm a first time vette owner here and loving it - all 2.5 hours of it. I will post the required pics when 1) I take some; and 2) I figure out how to do it.

Get some good stuff (Meguiars, Zaino, Zymol, etc.), microfiber towels, and give that new Vette some love YOURSELF.
Congrats
Break it in first, then put it in S mode and drive around a bit aggressive, it learns from your driving style. When you press the paddle to shift, gear should shift before the paddle gets back to its original position, pretty quick. Let us know.
Great looking dogs. Are those Leonbergers? They'll look great in the passenger seat with their heads out the window drooling all over your car.

Grats! I've trained myself over the years not to impulse buy cars anymore, but often wish I hadn't because I've had so much fun with them and never really regretted a single one. Now I'm spending a year scrutinizing a C6 purchase when I should be like you and just buy the damn thing.
Post pics! I'm wanting a MR coupe.

Brand Spanking New C6 > 10000 miles w/Zaino in fading sunlight
Do it yourself man...and you will get to know every stinkin' inch of her that way...
Car starts in first gear when starting in D or S without using paddels.
