A6 question

While driving in the shift mode has anyone noticed that you can't tell what gear you are in when the traction control is off or when in competition mode... Is there a way to cure this??

Mine comes up on the HUD display

Mine shows up on the HUD too. If you don't have the HUD, it should show on the DIC.

I forgot to mention that first you must be using the paddles to shift or it won't indicate the gear in either the HUD or DIC.

I asked and received an answer to this question myself some time ago. Hit "Reset" and the gear will again display. Made me crazy until I knew the answer and then crazy again after being presented with such a simple cure.
