We did 13 hours from Maryland to Bowling Green and it is a great trip car. Funny you mention Orlando, we are going down on the 26th but decided to fly. Enjoy your trip and give us a wave as you go by the Laurel exit on I-95--e
Drove 1800 miles in 3 days from Philly area to BG. 850 miles each way non stop. C6 had 2k miles at start (changed oil and filter at 1k, earlier). After getting home changed oil and filter again (probably a waste). The C6 (mn6 coupe) performed flawlessly and was a joy to drive (except when in stop and go situations) I assume your traveling I95 with very few traffic stops. Try to plan going through Baltimore to Richmond during off peaks. Tough traffic during commute times. As to comfort, we (my brother and I) stopped every 175-200 miles to refuel C6 and eat, etc. This equated to a stop about every 3 hours. Loved the entire trip. Enjoy!!!

Re Long Drive Problems.
With the new titanium drivers it's not a problem as I can usually knock it out at least 240 even if I don't catch it on the sweet spot... Oh sorry, wrong forum.
Went from Central Florida to NW Pennsylvania and back. It was probably the most fun I've had on a road trip of that length. When I got to Pa. I didn't want to stop, and was trying to think of anybody I might know in Canada. The mountains of Virginia and West Virginia were the most fun.
Just did 1025 miles from my place in Parrish, Fl to Ohio in 14.5 hours. Averaged a little over 25mpg and a little over 75mph and hated to get out of the car.....it was that good!!
Bowling Green to eastern Pennsylvania in October. Never enjoyed 970 miles so much.
I will be driving to Hutchinson Island at Fort Pierce, Florida in about three weeks. My wife wanted to use the Vette knowing how comfortable it was coming home from Bowling Green. I'll be parking my Corvette in the Corvette Corral at Sebring on March 16 and 18. Hope to see some forum members there.
BG - South TX (NCM delivery) - about 1000 miles. Great long-legged car; very comfortable despite the mix of Z51 and crappy interstates. As good a long-distance ride as I've ever had (including 4 BMWs).
Last spring my wife & I went here to San Diego and back - great trip. Several weeks ago I drove to Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale, then to Santa Fe(NM) & home for @1300 miles of fun - didn't even turn on the radio until about an hour from home. It's a fantastic trip car: I chose the coupe for more luggage room.
Last fall did a 2500 mile trip Dallas to the Eureka Springs AK corvette weekend, then on to St. Louis, up to NE Wisconsin, over to St. Paul MN, back to Dallas. Stay off the interstates and enjoy the countryside if you have the time. The 2-lane highways are a MUST if there are mountains, or even good hills. Great car, great trip, 27mpg, nary a problem, and every mile a pleasure.
