Default Hatch window pitting?

I have a 2006 coupe and at low sun angles from the rear, it looks like the rear window has been sandblasted. The color of the pits is yellow-green, and it looks like they're on both sides of the glass.

The window is sparkling clean and when you look through it when it's open, there is not hint of pitting. Anyone else notice this?

U sure what you seeing is not the distortion due to the curvature of the glass? lots have complained about that but its normal.. were you wearing polarized sun glasses when you noticed this?

Ive yet to see you on the road but here's a wave anyhow...

It's not waviness, and no glasses. You know by now, living in LA with any kind of mileage, your windshield gets pitted. Well, my rear window is far worse, but only at very low sun angles. Oh well, who needs to look out the back in a car like this? VROOOOM!
