Back from vacation...
First concern was, of course, the "old" 2005 C6. Any more DBS issues after nearly a month of inactivity in a frigid, unheated garage? I haven't tried starting it yet, but the radio security light is blinking away and the door unlatches just fine, so it looks like everything is fine. I saw only one C6 while in NY, but that's not unexpected this time of the year. I don't think there's a single Corvette on the whole island of Curacao but, given the fact that the roads there are pretty poor and the speed limits very low, I don't think driving a Vette there would be a satisfying experience anyway.
I'm attaching a few pictures from the Curacao part of the trip...nothing from Bellmore. Sorry NY guys, it's not really that scenic.
The town of Willemstaad...

Yours truly at the dive shop.....

A small spotted moray eel...

A trumpet fish...

A sand diver, also called a lizard fish...

A couple of famingo tongues, small snails...

A scorpion fish, poisonous spines on its back...

A small seahorse hiding in the reef...

Needless to say, I had a great time diving and taking pictures. I will have to admit though, I did miss all my friends on the C6 board. Now I'll have to re-tune my dripping sarcasm and get active again.
Well good, glad to hear it.
Now get back to work pointing out spelling errors.
It's really gone to hell in your absence, y'know.

Oh yea, beautiful pics.

Found something there almost as fun- Amstel "Bright" (not light) served at the little sidewalk cafes....
