Battery Positive Post
I have an 05 and the positive battery post is located on the inboard side. However, the positive battery post is on the outboard side of a friend's 06. Take a look at your's. Did the dealer install my new battery backwards after my last DBS?

No your 2005 is correct. The placement was changed for 2006..
